Plot:
With all participants gathering around the Clocktower, the Bat Family waits as Batman enters the tower alone to stop Black Mask and rescue Oracle. However, as the fight turns suicidal, Oracle activates the building's self destruct to force Batman to save her and, in the process, save himself from destruction. When the dust settles the Black Mask is gone and Batman is called to Leslie's clinic and to Stephanie's side as she dies. Two days later Black Mask stations himself as Gotham's new crime kingpin.
