The Valhalla Cemetery, also known as the Chapel Hill Cemetary, is a private burial ground located in Metropolis, honoring heroes who have died in the line of duty.

Those who have been laid to rest here include the original Atom, Doctor Mid-Nite, Red Bee, Crimson Avenger I, Hourman I, Tomorrow Woman and the Sandman. Memorial statues have also been erected for fallen members of the All-Star Squadron and JSA including Queen Hippolyta and John Zatara as well as memorials to Flash (Barry Allen), Green Arrow (Oliver Queen), Green Lantern (Hal Jordan), Ice, Johnny Quick I, Katar Hol, Immortal Man, Jade, the Human Bomb, Black Condor II, Phantom Lady II and Metamorpho.

Following a caper in New York, where the graves of Valhalla were scavenged for metahuman-DNA. To prevent future desecrations, the JLA cleared out the remains of their comrades from Valhalla and relocated their corpses inside a crypt beneath the Hall of Justice, in Washington D.C. While the cemetery no longer possesses any bodies, the memorial plaques and statues still remain to honor the fallen.
